Peekskill Man Violates Order Of Protection With Texts: PD
After the man voluntarily surrendered to the police, he was processed, arraigned and released.

PEEKSKILL, NY — A Peekskill man was accused of violating an order of protection by texting someone.
The Yorktown Police Department said Michael Rispoli, 69, of Peekskill, was charged Thursday with second-degree criminal contempt, a misdemeanor.
Around 11:15 a.m. Saturday, police said they responded to a Shrub Oak home for a report of a domestic incident.

An investigation found Rispoli violated a duly served Westchester Family Court Temporary Order of Protection by sending text messages to the victim.
Around 3 p.m. Thursday, he voluntarily surrendered to the Yorktown Police department in reference to the charge.

Rispoli was processed and arraigned by a judge and was released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court April 28.
