Police: Peekskill Men Arrested for Allegedly Abusing Wives

Two men were arrested in separate domestic dispute incidents where wives were kicked, hit and punched.

Police: Peekskill Man Punches, Kicks Wife

A Peekskill man accused of punching and kicking his wife several times causing injuries about her body during a domestic dispute was arrested on July 25, police report. Police charged 32-year-old Manuel Niguela-Pesantez of Highland Ave. with third degree assault, a misdemeanor. He was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.

A 45-year-old Peekskill man, Jose Reyes, was charged with third degree assault, a misdemeanor, following a domestic dispute during which he allegedly struck his wife several times in the face, causing her injury, police said. The incident occurred on the 200 block of N. Division Street on July 26 at 11:45 a.m. Reyes was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
