Peekskill Officials to Vote on Paramount Negotiations with Red House Monday
The Peekskill Common Council is expected vote on a resolution authorizing city management to negotiate a lease with Red House Entertainment during Monday's meeting.

The Peekskill Common Council is expected to push forward with plans to negotiate a lease with Red House Entertainment for the Paramount Center of the Arts during Monday’s Common Council meeting.
Melanie Rener, a spokeswoman for the Common Council, said the Common Council will vote on a resolution authorizing city officials to move forward with negotiations during the meeting, which is expected to begin at 7:30 p.m. in city hall. City hall is located at 840 Main St. in Peekskill.
Red House Entertainment is one of three groups that submitted proposals to lease and manage the Paramount. Â The Tarrytown Music Hall and the Paramount Phoenix Group are the other two groups.

The Paramount ceased operations in October after its former management board failed to reach fundraising goals. Â
Red House Entertainment is made up Kurt Heitmann, Abigail Adams, Jonathan Close and Ray Wilson.
