Peekskill's 22nd Outdoor Farmer's Market Opens June 9
Fresh produce, fruit and more will be available at this year's market.
Bank Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays from June 9 to Nov. 17 for the 22nd year of the Peekskill Farmer's Market.
The Peekskill City Council discussed a request from the Business Improvement District asked for No Parking signs to be placed on Bank Street on Friday and Saturday evenings. The request was made because of issues in past years when police had to remove cars that were parked on Bank Street at 6 a.m. on Saturday mornings.
There are four new venders participating this year, according to a memo to the city by Marilyn Ettinger, Farmer’s Market Manager.
