The Peekskill school board is scheduled to meet tonight inside the district administration building, located inside 1031 Elm St. in Peekskill. The public session will start at 7:00 p.m. The agenda is attached to this story.

2.) HV Gateway Young Professionals Anniversary Celebration on March 5th

The Hudson Valley Young Professionals, Gateway Chapter, is hosting an anniversary celebration on March 5 at the Peekskill Brewery, located on 47-53 S. Water St. in Peekskill. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be complimentary hor' derves and a cash bar.

4.) Facebook 101 Workshop at the Field Library in Peekskill

The Field Library in Peekskill is hosting a workshop at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, on using Facebook.  Discover how to safely navigate the ins and outs of today's social super highway and, create an account. 5.) EMBARK at the Energy Movement Center Still Taking RegistrationsClasses

Embark at the Energy Movement Center is offering its winter session classes for the whole family by local teaching artists.  From Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Tango 101, Hoops Dance Fitness, Acting and Playwriting for Children, Teens and/or Adults to Cultural classes such as Community African Drumming and Latin Rhythms Percussion. Registration is still in progress, with fees starting at $10.
