Police: Peekskill Woman Arrested for Driving with 18 License Suspensions

Peekskill police arrested Tracey May Tuesday after a traffic stop on Main Street.

A Peekskill woman faces a felony charge for aggravated unlicensed operation Tuesday after she allegedly had her license revoked 18 times on 12 different dates.

Police arrested Tracey May, 48, of Peekskill, and charged her with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, just before 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said they stopped May for an equipment violation while she was driving west on Main Street and discovered her license was suspended after checking her records.

A person can be charged a felony for aggravated unlicensed operation if they have 10 or more license suspensions on 10 seperate dates for failing to answer a court summons or pay a fine.

May was arrested without incident.
