Peekskill Youth Bureau To Hold Juneteenth Celebration
Organizers said this year's celebration will focus on "Africa American Firsts."
PEEKSKILL, NY — The City of Peekskill Youth Bureau will hold its 11th annual Juneteenth Celebration Saturday.
It will take place from noon to 5 p.m. at Depew Park in Peekskill.
Organizers said this year's celebration will focus on "Africa American Firsts" and will feature Westchester Deputy County Executive Ken Jenkins, Peekskill Judge Reginald Johnson, Peekskill Mayor Vivian McKenzie and Joan Battle King, CEO/owner of Little Kings & Queens Daycare, as this year's grand marshals.

There will also be a Freedom Walk, youth presentations, spoken work food and craft vendors, music, dance and more.
Depew Park is at 1 Robin Drive in Peekskill.
