Peekskill Man Charged with Felony for Driving Without a License

Police said Tito Tacuri had 14 license suspensions when they stopped him on March 1.

A 30-year-old Peekskill man is scheduled to appear in court after a driver’s license check revealed that his license had been suspended 14 times on a 11 separate occasions.

Peekskill police arrested Tito Tacuri, 30, of Peekskill and charged him with a felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation on March 1. At about 8:45 a.m., a police officers allegedly saw Tacuri drive in the bus only area of the Hillcrest Elementary School, located on 4 Horton Drive in Peekskill.

The officer ran a check on Tacuri’s license and discovered the suspensions. Tacuri was arraigned and released to reappear in Peekskill city court at a later date.
