Police Ask Public for Leads in Brutal Beating Case
The man who says he was jumped last week has hired a lawyer.

are appealing to the public to help them catch the group of men who a 41-year-old Depew Street man on June 3.
Police Lt. Eric Johansen met with the victim and his lawyer Monday.
“We have developed a few more leads but hopefully we generate more interest (from the public) and get more leads,” Johansen said.

The police have also reached out to Crime Stoppers for help with the situation.
The victim sustained a fractured nose, facial fractures, lacerations and bruising, and was robbed of several personal items in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 3. He was left in the street on the 100 block of Depew Street where he lives. The victim spent three or four days in the Westchester Medical Center recovering from the attack, Johansen said.
