Police Charge State Prisoner for Selling Heroin in Monument Park Area

Peekskill police Detectives Joe McGann and Anthony Malfitano charged 34-year-old Jason Lowery, of Peekskill, with four counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, on May 10 at 2:40 p.m. The charges came following an eight-month long undercover investigation conducted jointly with the Westchester County Department of Public Safety. Lowery sold Heroin on four occasions to an undercover police officer around the 500 block of Highland Ave., the Monument Park area. Lowery, who is currently incarcerated in state prison on an unrelated charge, was arraigned in Peekskill City Court and returned to the Downstate Correctional Facility.
