Police: Peekskill Man Fights Cops After Using Fake Name to Avoid Arrest
The police managed to arrest the subject.

Officer Matt Basso recognized a subject who had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court on a third degree assault charge on the 500 block of Highland Avenue on June 7 at 9:35 p.m. The subject, Nathanial Tisdell, a 25-year-old Peekskill resident, allegedly provided Basso with a false name in an effort to avoid arrest.
Once positively identified, Officer Basso attempted to place Tisdell under arrest, but he began to resist arrest and fought with the officer, police said. Basso was able to take Tisdell into custody with the assistance of Officer John Marchioni. Tisdell was charged with false personation, obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, all misdemeanors, and held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
