Police: Crompond Man Throws Rock at Woman, Narrowly Misses Her Head

Police arrested 19-year-old Crompond resident Noah Waldstein after he was accused of throwing a rock at a female acquaintance, narrowly missing her head and breaking a window on a residence she was standing in front of on May 9 at 4 p.m. Police officer Matt Basso made the arrest on May 16 at 7:40 p.m. on the 500 block of Washington Street and charged Waldstein with second degree reckless endangerment and fourth degree criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. Waldstein was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.

Peekskill Man Threatens Girlfriend with Knife

Police arrested 38-year-old Peekskill man Glenn Yerger following a domestic dispute in which he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, threatened her with a knife and damaged several items in her home. Police officer Lou Denet made the arrest on May 15 at 5:45 a.m. on East Boulevard. Yerger was charged with second degree menacing, third degree assault; and third degree criminal mishief, a felony. Yerger was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
