Selling Crack to Cops; Yonkers Man Arrest for Burglary of Dale’s Deli

Selling Crack to Cops
An 18-year-old Peekskill man was charged with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, after selling crack cocaine to an undercover police officer on several occasions. Javon Dennis was charged on Dec. 14 at 11 p.m. on Highland Avenue following a three-month long investigation conducted jointly between the City of Peekskill Police and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety, during which he sold the drugs to an undercover officer, police said. He was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.

Three Arrested for Heroin
Three young men were arrested for possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle following a traffic stop on Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. on Hudson Avenue in Peekskill. Luke Demarchis, 24, of Montrose, Matthew Hickey, 23, of Verplanck, and Matthew Feeley, 22, of Verplanck were in a car driving by Demarchis and were pulled over afer Demarchis failed to stop at a stop sign, police said. They were charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and were held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.

Arrested for Possessing an Assortment of Drugs
On Dec. 13 at 3:35 a.m. Michael Tesoriero, 41, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Tesoriero was charged after being found in possession of a small quantity of cocaine, marijuana, and Percocet following a traffic stop, police said. He was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
Yonkers Man Arrested for Burglary of
A 22-year-old Yonkers resident was charged with the burglary of Dale’s Deli on Railroad Avenue last Thursday. The burglary occurred on Sept. 1, 2011. Det. Ralph D’Alsio lifted a fingerprint from the crime scene at the time, which was later identified as Yonkers resident Jerald Jenkins’ print. Jenkins was charged with third degree burglary, a felony, on Dec. 15, and was held for arraignment in Peekskill City Court.
