Senior Tax Exemption, Zoning Amendments: Cortlandt Town Board
The Cortlandt Town Board will meet in two sessions the week of June 12.

CORTLANDT, NY — The Cortlandt Town Board will be meeting twice this week.
There will be a work session at 6 p.m. Monday, June 12.
The agenda includes a review of the Town Board’s regular meeting agenda and a review of any other topic as necessary. There may also be an executive session if needed.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, the Cortlandt Town Board will meet in its regular session.
The agenda, which can be viewed in its entirety here, includes two public hearings:

- Public hearing to consider state-updated tax exemption limits for seniors, which will be adjourned to July 18
- Public hearing to consider proposed zoning text amendments related to the existing R-80 moratorium. The hearing will be closed to adopt a negative declaration and a resolution.
The agenda also includes resolutions authorizing the Westchester County Police to use the Verplanck Quarry for training; fireworks permits; and closing streets for the Mt. Carmel Feast and scheduling public hearings for ATV regulations and a zoning ordinance amendment to correct inconsistencies.
