Shop and Do Business in Cortlandt April 20-29
Take advantage of deals on all the fresh food, cute clothes, unique gifts and other goods that Cortlandt businesses offer this April, all while promoting a healthy environment.
Cortlandt officials have long been dedicated to environmental awareness and supporting their local economy. This April 20 through 29 they will promote these values with Shop and Do Business in Cortlandt week.
Local businesses have signed up to offer discounts to shoppers who pick up “information bags” at various locations around town. The more you shop the more savings you earn. At the end of the week prizes will be raffled off to the eligible frequent shoppers.
The week will be kicked off at , April 20 at 2 p.m. Hilltop is offering 15 percent off all plant material all week long. Similar discounts can be found at the many other Cortlandt stores participating in the event.

The Earth Day events will start on Saturday morning with a Give and Take and Clean Up Your Neighborhood. Read more about each event below.
“Information Bags” will be available April 13 through April 27 at the following locations:

The bag will include a Shopper’s Card and a list of participating businesses. Fill up your Shopper’s Card to be eligible to win prizes at the end of the week.
Give and Take Event
Saturday April 21, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bring items that you would like to donate and come see what is free for the taking. No money is needed. The Town asks that items be clean, reusable and in working condition. No furniture or other large items will be accepted. Drop off begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center (Off West Brook Drive).
