Shoplifting Arrest at Walmart in Cortlandt

New York State police arrested a Carmel woman for a reported larceny.

On May 20, 2012, at about 4:00 p.m., NYSP was called to Walmart in the Cortlandt Town Center for a reported larceny.  Michelle Licari, 31, of Carmel, NY, was stopped by Walmart loss prevention officers after allegedly taking approximately $136 dollars worth of assorted merchandise without paying for it. 

After she was turned over to State Police, she was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, and released on an appearance ticket.  She must appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on June 8 at 9 a.m.
