St. Patrick's Celebration Begin, Benefit Concerts and a Film Festival at St. Columbanus
Five things you should know for today, March 3.

1.) Rhonda Denet & the Silver Fox Songs Trio to Perform at the Hen Hud Library
Rhonda Denet and the Silver Fox Songs Trio will perform “From Jazz to Soul” 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at the Hendrick Hudson Free Library, 185 Kings Ferry Rd. in Montrose.
2.) “Beat the Winter Blues” at Colonial Terrace
Colonial Terrace is hosting an afternoon of fun, food and live music at 2 p.m. today to benefit Support Connection's free breast and ovarian cancer support services. The Live band “Robin and the Hoods” will play favorites from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Admission is $20 in advance/$25 at the door. Price includes: appetizers & unlimited soft drinks, coffee and dessert. Cash bar available. Proceeds will benefit Support Connection’s free support services and programs for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer.

3.) "Year of Faith Film Festival" at the St. Columbanus Church
The St. Columbanus Council 14991 Knights of Columbus will present
the acclaimed "Catholicism Series,” 10 programs about
Catholic faith and tradition, each Sunday afternoon, at St.
Columbanus Church, located at 122 Oregon Rd. in Cortlandt Manor. The viewing will take place from 3p.m. to 5 p.m. inside Dillon Hall, until March 24.
4.) Living with Cancer: A Benefit Concert for Rob Morsberger at the BeanRunner

Songwriter Rob Morsberger, who was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, is hosting a benefit concert today with Suzzy Roche, a founding member of the singing group The Roches, at the BeanRunner Cafe, located at 201 S Division St. in Peekskill. Tickets cost call $30.
5.) St. Patrick’s Celebration Begins in Peekskill
Grand Marshal Deborah Carlin Polhill will be installed today at 6 p.m. at The Mansion at Colonial Terrace, located 119 Oregon Rd. in Cortlandt Manor. Also being installed as Aides to the Grand Marshal are Joanne Connor, Thomas McCaffrey and Catherine Pisani.
