Town of Cortlandt to Host Annual Friendship Party for Senior Citizens

We would like to welcome Town of Cortlandt Seniors, age 60+, to our next function.  On September 21, 2012 we are having our annual Friendship Party.  It is a Pot-luck lunch with music and entertainment provided free of charge. 

The Muriel H. Morabito Community Center houses an active senior citizen program.  The staff here is committed to providing leisure opportunities where “being active is a way of life.”  TOC Seniors come to socialize at the center, meet new friends while on trips, or learn new skills while participating in a myriad of programs.

Special Events:  Luncheons, Educational speakers of various senior topics, Blood Pressure Screenings, Medical and Shopping Transportation Services and more.

Travel Programs: Join the group on various senior outings –choose from NYC Musicals, Lobster Fest, Casino Trips, Oktoberfest, Boat trips on the Hudson, Westchester Broadway Theatre, and much more!  Please see itinerary for details.

Sports & Tournaments:  Billiards, Bocce, Horseshoes

Classes:  Designed to keep your mind and body active.  The classes range from Fitness Classes (Zumba Gold, Line Dancing, aerobics, toning), AARP Defensive Driving, Computer Classes, Ceramics Classes, and more. 

Games-Bingo, Scrabble, Canasta, Various Card Games and more

Club meetings:  Nor-Cort, Cortlandt, Verplanck, and Crompond

Nutritional Lunches offered daily Monday through Friday
