1. Cortlandt Swearing In Ceremony
Re-elected Cortlandt Town Board members and the town justice will be sworn into their positions this Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Town Hall.
2. Hendrick Hudson High School Chorus Canceled

The previously scheduled HHHS Chorus concert for this Saturday has been postponed to a later date to be determined.
3. Flight to Freedom, the Story of Margaret Garner

At 10:30 a.m. Peekskill High School students will be treated to a performance of 'Flight to Freedom: The Story of Margaret Garner.' The play is based on an acclaimed opera by Grammy Award-winning composer Richard Danielpour and Nobel Laureate novelist and librettist Toni Morrison about one of pre-Civil War America’s most famous fugitive slaves. Copland House Artistic and Executive Director Michael Boriskin has created an abridged, 35-minute educational version specifically for the in-school performance. This performance features special guest Don Bennett, Deputy Mayor, City of Peekskill as narrator, along with some of America's top young opera singers.
The performance is funded in part by ArtsWestchester and there will be a breaak-out discussion following the show.
4. Fred’s Pantry Could Use Your Bags
You can donate your plastic and/or "green" grocery shopping bags at the Pantry at on Friday (after 9:30) or Saturday (after 8:00) mornings.
