Youth Bureau Christmas Trees/Wreaths, Common Council, Art + Word

Five things you need to know today, Nov. 28.

1.    Common Council and Committee of the Whole Meeting
The Peekskill COW meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. and Common Council meeting is at 7:30 p.m.

2.    Youth Bureau Christmas Trees
The Peekskill Youth Bureau will be selling wreaths and Christmas trees starting this Wednesday, Nov. 30.  Call 734-8411 for more information.


3.    Field Library Art + Word Show
Art + Word: The Intersection of Painting and Story, is a collaborative show from local residents, artist Andrew Barthelmes and author Mark Wisniewski. It is on display in the Field Library from Nov. 26 to Dec. 29.

4.    Orange Splot Art Spot Fundraiser
There are just a few days left to place a bid on Orange Splot Art Spot and help support the ArtsWestchester fundraising auction powered by BiddingForGood. 
 

5.    Warm Weather Continues
You can expect this weekend’s warm temperature to continue, according to the National Weather Service. Monday and Tuesday will be in the low 60s, with temperatures dropping Wednesday to around 50, and down to 48 for Thursday and Friday.
