Pelham Art Center Holds Annual Studio Café Fundraiser

PELHAM, NY - Be prepared to thoroughly enjoy yourself on Saturday, November 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Pelham Art Center! This year, Pelham Art Center's famously popular annual fall fundraiser, Studio Café, is an Arts and Craft Beer Fest, featuring...yes!..a superb selection of affordable silent auction art from quality, emerging, and, known artists as well as delicious craft beers from all over Westchester County. Along with craft beers and wine, guests will be treated to a rich buffet of tasty specialty dishes contributed by more than 20 local restaurants.

The art group EYE will perform a giant live painting themed to the hot sounds of the popular Rob Garcia band, back by popular demand. Guests will also have the chance to purchase EYE's live art when it is finished. The silent auction will feature fine art at affordable prices, a unique opportunity for the casual to seasoned collector to buy well without gallery markups. There will also be an exciting choice of other auction items, including vacation stays, sports experiences, luxurious dinners, art tours, luxury items and more.

This year's powerhouse Studio Café Co-chairs, Lisa Koonce and Mary Beth Fisher, promise a culturally rich and absolutely fun evening. Said Lisa Koonce: "For a relatively inexpensive ticket you do good while having fun. Proceeds from Studio Café Arts and Craft Beer Fest will come back to enrich the entire community with free arts experiences, exhibitions and events, art scholarships for all ages, after-school art programs in underserved communities, and free folk arts cultural experiences for everyone."
