Pelham Art Center Presents 'Andean Carnavales'
Pelham Art Center is inviting the community to celebrate the Peruvian culture in celebration of carnival with a band and arts and crafts.
From Pelham Art Center: Pelham Art Center is excited to announce our next Folk Art event, Andean Carnavales. Join us on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 PM for family-friendly activities celebrating Peruvian Culture. In celebration of Carnavales (Carnival), experience a traditional Peruvian musical performance by the band Inkarayku, led by Mr. Andres Jimenez. Stay for a hands-on workshop creating a craft typical of the Peruvian Carnaval season. As part of our Folk Arts Series, this event is free and open to all ages.
