PMHS Forensic Team Participates In NY State Championships

From PMHS: Six members of the PMHS Forensic Speech Team had strong performances at the New York State Championships held the weekend of April 29 and 30 as they advanced to the elimination round of the tournament at Hofstra University on Long Island.

Junior Saul Glist was a quarterfinalist in varsity Extemporaneous Speaking, sophomores Henry Driesen and Ben Glickman were quarterfinalists in JV Extemporaneous Speaking and sophomore Athena Woodfin was a quarterfinalist in JV Oral Interpretation. Senior Kate McLaughlin placed 12 th in varsity Oral Interpretation and sophomore Lucy Bischof placed 7th in Declamation.
