Briarcliff Accident Victim Named, Investigation Continues

Briarcliff Manor Police have identified the man who died in a Route 100 accident as a White Plains veteran.

Briarcliff Manor Police have identified the 80-year-old man who passed away after being involved in a three-car accident on Route 100 last week as Anthony Loddo of White Plains.

Police Lt. Donald Gorey in the village.

According to an obituary for Loddo on White Plains Patch, he served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1965 and owned Anthony Loddo Inc. in White Plains.

He is remembered as "an avid equestrian" who "especially loved the outdoors."

Gorey said the accident still remains under investigation and no criminal charges against the two other drivers involved in the accident have been filed.
