Briarcliff High School Playwrights Take Work to the Stage
Students participated in the Young Playwrights' Festival at the North Castle Public Library.
From Briarcliff High School:
Briarcliff High School theater students took their original work from page to stage at the annual Young Playwrights’ Festival, held at the North Castle Public Library. Introduction to Theater class students, along with Bear Bones Theatre students, were challenged to utilize the stage to fill an empty space with pathos or humor, catharsis
or contemplation, strife or love.
Directors Ian Driver and Jamie Mandel encouraged students to use their imaginations to bring their work to life.
The school congratulates all participants: Olivia Banc, Jasmine Bar, Tabitha Birch, Julianna Brown, Sam Driver, Kashika Goel, Danielle Jacoby, Sarah Kaul, Mikayla Kibel, Matt Kutcher, Kayla Owen, Sabine Poux, Michael Price, Robert Prendergast, Helaina Ross, Henry Ross, Juliet Tierney and Stephanie Vaream.
