Briarcliff HS Teachers Named Collaborators of Excellence

Briarcliff High School teachers Thomas Durkin and Michelle McNeight have been named Collaborators of Excellence by the New York State English Council.

"This dynamic duo has, for the past nine years, worked their magic with students for whom comprehensive English skills have been challenging,” said Principal Debora French. “Like a well-oiled machine, Mr. Durkin and Ms. McNeight create strategic lesson designs to address the specific needs of every child in their classroom. Their student-centered classroom sparks a high interest level and productive atmosphere which builds upon students’ strengths, confidence and intellectual curiosity."
