Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Burglary Report; Garbage Left at Church

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from April 1 to 7, 2013.
Sunday, April 7
9:24 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Route 9A and arrested a 21-year-old Peekskill man for allegedly driving without a license and in a car that had expired insurance. He was processed and released on bail and the vehicle was impounded.

3:53 p.m. — A residential burglary was reported by a Jackson Road resident. It remains under investigation.
12:50 p.m. — A Ridgecrest Road resident reported there was an unwanted contractor on his property. Responding officers reported the crew was no longer there went hey arrived, but on the adjacent property where they were working. Police advised the workers to be mindful of the property boundaries.

Saturday, April 6
4:00 p.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Route 9 and arrested the driver, a 42-year-old Ossining man, for allegedly driving with a suspended driver's license. His vehicle was impounded and he was processed and released on $100 bail.
Thursday, April 4
11:43 a.m. — An All Saints' Episcopal Church employee reported finding bags of debris and beer cans on the church's property, possibly from a party. Police filed a report of the finding.
Wednesday, April 3
1:32 p.m. — A resident reported to police felt harassed by a board of education member at a March 19 meeting. He stated the board member has continually told him his time was up while he was speaking.
Monday, April 1
10:49 p.m. — A Scarborough Road resident reported someone rang the doorbell, but no one was at the door. The resident reported seeing a vehicle leaving the scene in a hurry.
