Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Car Break-Ins; Suspicious SUV

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from April 22 to 28, 2013.
Sunday, April 28
12:55 p.m. — A resident reported that while she was walking her dog on Pleasantville Road, a SUV began following her and refused to pass. She said she ran through a golf course to lose the vehicle. Police responded and were unable to locate the vehicle.

Saturday, April 27
9:30 p.m. — An Elm Road resident reported pulling up to his home and seeing someone inside when no one was supposed to be there. Police responded and later reported the man's father had arrived there early.

8:39 a.m. — An Apple Lane resident reported there was a raccoon sleeping in her front yard. Police responded and said they destroyed and removed the raccoon.
Thursday, April 25
7:40 p.m. — Police arrested a 24-year-old Ossining resident on Route 9 for allegedly driving a vehicle that had a suspended registration.
12:22 p.m. — Police responded to the scene of a three-car accident on Route 100. Read more here and here.
Wednesday, April 24
9:46 p.m. — Police responded to a Linden Circle resident where a dispute between a mother and son was underway. Police reported the son appeared intoxicated and the mother wanted him to leave the home. The man allegedly threw stones at her car on the premise. The man, 32, was arrested and charged with harassment.
10:33 a.m. — A Cedar Drive East resident reported attempting to order something via Facebook from a Florida resident. The Briarcliff Manor complainant said the package had not yet arrived. Police noted the alleged larceny for the record.
8:50 a.m. — An Oak Road resident reported change had been stolen from her unlocked vehicle sometime overnight.
Monday, April 22
6:21 a.m. — A Todd Lane resident reported someone broke into her vehicle and took change and sunglasses. She said a second unlocked vehicle on on her property was broken into and disturbed, but nothing appeared to be missing.
