Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Neighbor Harassment; Man Spits on Cars

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from April 8 to 14, 2013.
Sunday, April 14
7:28 a.m. — Police stopped a driver for allegedly driving erratically on Route 9. He was subsequently arrested. Read more details here.

Saturday, April 13
2:22 p.m. — Police received a report of a dispute between a father and son in the village. The father claimed the son stole money, but was unable to find any evidence of the alleged crime. Police filed a report of the dispute.

Friday, April 12
11:19 p.m. — Police responded to a South Highland Avenue business after a party reported two friends were arguing. Police were dispatched and reported the dispute was verbal only in nature and resolved when one party agreed to spend the night elsewhere.
11:45 a.m. — Police received a report of an erratic driver at the Scarborough Metro North Station. Upon responding, an attendant at the station told police he had approached the driver and the two had engaged in a verbal dispute. The driver had then left the scene, but first spit on two cars, the attendant reported. Police were unable to locate the driver.
Wednesday, April 10
7:29 p.m. — A Chappaqua Road resident reported the wall in front of his home appeared to have been damaged by a vehicle striking it. Police said there were no witnesses to the incident.
11:30 a.m. — Police responded to a Dogwood Lane home and cited the owner for having a barking dog.
Tuesday, April 9
10:17 p.m. — A Colby Lane resident called police to report a neighbor's front door had been left wide open. Police responded to the residence and reported finding nothing out of order.
3:30 p.m. — A Copley Court Condominiums resident reported to police that he had been harassed by another tenant for the past couple of months. Police are investigating the claims.
