Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Suspended License Arrests

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from Feb. 18 to 24, 2013.

Saturday, Feb. 22

10:30 p.m. — A woman called police and reported she hit a pothole, causing damage to one of her passenger side tires.

7:38 p.m. — Police reported a vacant vehicle in the Chilmark Shopping Center parking lot rolled backward, striking a building. Police reported damage, but no injuries at the scene.

Saturday, Feb. 21

5:33 p.m. — A police officer stopped a vehicle on Pleasantville Road and arrested the driver, a 31-year-old Valley Stream resident, for allegedly driving with a suspended license.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

6:34 p.m. — Police responded to an accident on Route 9A and arrested a driver, a 44-year-old Peeskill man, for allegedly driving with a suspended license.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

9:20 a.m. — A Hawthorne Place resident reported his mailbox was damaged.

12:09 a.m. — Police received a report of a loud argument in the rear of a South Highland Avenue building. Responding police said they did not witness an argument, but saw a couple in a vehicle at the scene. The couple reportedly left without incident.
