Briarcliff Students Prepare For Annual Dance Concert

'Stand in the Light and Be Seen as We Are' is the theme for the annual dance concert that will feature a variety of dance styles on Apr.1&2.

From Briarcliff Manor School District: Briarcliff middle and high school dancers are preparing for the annual dance concert, “Stand in the Light and Be Seen as We Are,” which will be presented on April 1 and 2.

The concert will feature a variety of dance types, including Bollywood dancing and student-created pieces developed in an improvisational class.

“Students were given titles to three paintings and were asked to come up with something,” said dance teacher Diane Guida of the latter pieces.

The annual dance concert will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 2 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased for $12 at showtix4u.com or $15 at the door.
