Here are some things to keep in mind this week:
1. At Monday's 8 p.m. Pleasantville Board of Trustees meeting, Benchmark Senior Living will be back with an updated presentation about its proposal for a Bedford Road site. View the evening's entire agenda here.
2. Briarcliff Manor's board of Trustees is meeting for a 7:30 p.m. meeting Wednesday, where a $71,244.55 bid will be awarded for the Youth Center/Law Park restoration project. View Wednesday's full agenda here.
3. At Pleasantville's Board of Education Tuesday at 7 p.m., there will be special reports on the start of the school year and a facilities update.
4. Monday at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library, there's a special program scheduled for teens and their parents all about the PSATs, SATs, SAT IIs, PLAN and ACT exams. View the event details here.
5. Briarcliff Manor Village Manager Philip Zegarelli said in his most recent update that the state will be shutting down its Catskill and Delaware aqueducts for repairs Thursday night and reopen them Friday morning. "We will top-off our tanks before the shutdown in order to float our water supply unit until it reopens by mid-morning on Friday," he said.
