Don't Miss: Pleasantville's 'Beer, Wine & Chili Dinner'; 'Hide and Seek' in Briarcliff

There are tons of ways to keep busy around Pleasantville and Briarcliff Manor this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you. Here are the details for several great events.

'Hide and Seek' at Briarcliff Manor Public Library


The event is only open to students in grades 9 through 12. It will be held on Friday, Nov. 8 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and it is brought to you by the Briarcliff Manor Public Library's Teen Advisory Board (TAB). There will be food and prizes and "Hide & Seek." Pleasantville Fund for Learning's Annual Auction & Dance 

Join the Pleasantville Fund for Learning at its annual Auction & Dance on Friday, Nov. 8, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Pleasantville Country Club. Dress is chic casual. Walk or carpool, and enjoy some seasonal tasty fare and cocktails. Silent and live auction items will be offered this year, plus a special showcase for a PHS Edible Garden grant. Tickets are $100 per guest. PFFL is “Going Green” and not sending printed invites this year. Go to the PFFL website (www.pffl.org) to RSVP, pay for your tickets, or make a donation.  

7th Annual Beer, Wine & Chili Dinner

It will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Holy Innocents Social Hall. It is all you care to eat and drink – including chili, beer, wine, dessert and coffee. There are lots of prizes and it promises to be a fun evening. The cost is $20 per person. Proceeds will benefit Pleasantville Fancher Nicoll American Legion Post 77.
