DWAI, Knife Possession Arrests in Pleasantville

A driver and her passenger were both arrested in the early morning hours last Wednesday, Pleasantville Police reported.

Police reported investigating a vehicle outside of 7-Eleven on Bedford Road at 2:25 a.m. on February 20.

The driver, a 19-year-old White Plains woman, was arrested after police said she was driving with her ability impaired by drugs.

Police also arrested her passenger, a 21-year-old Pleasantville man and charged him with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a misdemeanor.

The man was carrying a knife, police said. He also reportedly has an active warrant out of the Town of Mount Pleasant.
