Easter Comes Early for Briarcliff Manor Kids
The Recreation Department hosted its annual egg hunt Thursday morning.
Kids and their families crowded into the Law Memorial Park pavilion this morning to enjoy a spring-themed Circus Eggs-travaganza show with Fidget and Loon.
Following the performance, kids lined up outside the park's lawns and took off running at the sound of the whistle for the annual egg hunt.
The candy-filled treats, including a dozen special gold eggs that won the finder an Easter basket, were snatched up within minutes.

Recreation Department members were on-hand after the hunt to hand out extra eggs to kids who weren't able to grab some right away and everyone was able to enjoy a treat or two before heading home.
Village Manager Philip Zegarelli said this afternoon that approximately 250 children attended the festivities.
