"I had many influential teachers in my years at Pocantico Hills; Mr. Leventis, Mr. Anderson, Mr. Yordy, Mr. Angst and so many more! This week it's all about the Pocantico teachers where I now work and my children attend. "My daughter Sophie's 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Hagey from the Bedford Road School. Mrs. Hagey has such enthusiasm and care for her students. My daughter loved school this year." —Dorothy Vaughan Johnson

"Thank you Vera Buettner you are one of my favorite teachers!" —Cynthia Ciralli Lefebvre

"My sons preschool teachers especially Jessica Hauben Lazarowitz. We love you guys!" —Jennifer Sicard

"Thank you Jerry Solin. While I had some wonderful teachers during my 13 years in the Pleasantville School District, you stood out. At a time when I "knew everything" and had had enough of HS you encouraged me to stay with your class. While I may not have been the best student in class (mostly by choice), college calculus the following year was a breeze, as you had taught me it well! Thank you for always encouraging me and for the wonderful gentleman you were then, and continue to be. You're the best." —Barbara Covert Sherman

"Thank you to Kathleen Hall (Todd School - 4th Grade) for being so supportive and giving to my son and teaching the whole class empathy. Truly inspiring." —Laura Nadler Scott
