Morris: I Got Briarcliff Thinking
The independent mayoral candidate was defeated at the polls yesterday, but said she's proud of her campaign.

Despite coming up short at the polls Tuesday, independent mayoral candidate Laura Morris, said, "I’m very proud of my campaign and what I have accomplished. I believe I achieved a lot. I also got Briarcliff thinking and they need to do that more so."

Morris continued, "We have been too much of a rubber stamp town for too long and we need to start asking more questions. I do fear and worry about our future as a town. We can’t keep going on like we have been for the past several years, just rubber-stamping everything. We have to start asking more questions."
