A man attempted to rob Hudson Valley Bank on Marble Avenue this afternoon, police said.

Several area police forces, including Pleasantville, Westchester County, MTA and New York State—as well as a helicopter and canine—were deployed this afternoon after the Mount Pleasant Police Department received a report of an attempted bank robbery.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. today, the department received a call from Hudson Valley Bank at 501 Marble Ave. in Thornwood reporting the incident, said Sgt. Michael McGuinn.
"A note was passed to the teller that said 'no dye pack,'" McGuinn stated.
