NYSP: 66 Arrests During Westchester Taconic Detail
Police reported 13 drivers failed to comply with the "move over" law on the Taconic Wednesday.
New York State Police reported issuing a total of 66 tickets in Westchester County while conducting a traffic enforcement detail on the Taconic State Parkway Wednesday.
The detail, which took place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., resulted in the following, according to a press release:
Speed Arrests: 18
Seatbelt Arrests: 3
Other V&T Law Arrests: 23
"Move Over Law" Arrests - 13
Cell Phone Arrests - 9
Total Tickets Issued: 66
