Pace Lax Opens Season with Win

The Pace University Setters won on the road in Colorado Friday.

ALAMOSA, Colo.- The Pace men's lacrosse team got their 2013 season off to a positive start as they held off the Grizzlies of Adams State University 11-10 for their first win of the season. The Setters open up at 1-0, while the Grizzlies fall to 0-1 on the season.

Pace has won four straight season openers dating back to 2010.

William Scioscia (Somerset, NJ/Imaculata) led the Setters with four points, while Thomas Earl(North Babylon, NY/St. Anthony's) added two points.

The Setters wrap up their trip to Colorado as they take on Colorado-Mesa University on Sunday, February 24 at the University of Denver at 7:30 EST.
