Pleasantville MS Student to Compete in NYS Geographic Bee
Ben Richmond won the middle school's first bee earlier this year.

The following is from the Pleasantville Union Free School District:
Eighth grader Ben Richmond, winner of the Pleasantville Middle School’s National Geographic Bee, will compete in the 2013 New York State Geographic Bee at the New York State Museum in Albany on April 5, 2013.
Bees were held in over 320 schools throughout the state with fourth- through eighth-grade students to determine each school’s Bee winner. School-level winners then took a qualifying test, which they submitted to the National Geographic Society.
