Police: Man Arraigned on DWI Had Open Beer in Car
Police say the man had a BAC of more than twice the legal limit.

A Chappaqua man's license was suspended in Pleasantville Court Tuesday as he was arraigned on an Aggravated DWI charge.
Police said that Stephen P. Long of Chappaqua was involved in an accident on the night of February 3.
According to police reports, the 58-year-old was arrested after his vehicle struck a wall in front of a Bedford Road home at approximately 10:18 p.m.

During court Tuesday, Assistant District Attorney Michelle Calvi said Long's blood alcohol content (BAC) was 0.2, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
Police also reported finding an open Molson beer bottle in the car, which they took into evidence. Long's New York State driver's license was also taken.

Long is additionally charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Vehicle in the Third Degree. Her turned over his temporary license to the court Tuesday.
Calvi requested Long be referred to Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC).
The case was adjourned until April 2
