Saturday: Help Beautify Briarcliff with 'Stash the Trash'
High School students can earn community service by helping out; adults also welcome.

Briarcliff Manor's Recreation Department is hosting the annual "Stash the Trash" event Saturday.
At the April 17 Board of Trustees meeting, Trustee Lori Sullivan pointed out "...this is a great opportunity [for students] to receive community service."
"Someone from the Rec Department will be there to log you in and out," she said.

Anyone interested can stop by the Youth Center anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 27 to grab a refreshment, pick up supplies and go to an area in need of some clean-up, according to a press release from the department.
"Besides kids, adults can join," Village Manager Philip Zegarelli added. "We have had that before."
