Shimsky Bests Abinanti In Democratic Primary For AD 92
The county Board of Elections is reporting 117 districts out of 127 as of Wednesday morning.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — In the Democratic primary for Assembly District 92, Westchester County Legislator MaryJane Shimsky declared victory over incumbent Assemblyman Tom Abinanti.
As of Wednesday morning, according to the Westchester County Board of Elections website, Shimsky was ahead of Abinanti 53 percent to 44 percent, with 117 districts out of 127 reporting.
Shimsky, who also will appear on the Working Families Party line, will face Carlo Valente who is running on the Republican and Conservative lines in the general election in November.

The 92nd Assembly District is comprised of the villages of Pleasantville, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Irvington, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson and Ardsley and part of the unincorporated section of Greenburgh.
