Thanksgiving Week in Briarcliff-Pleasantville: Turkey Trot, Spring Musical Auditions

Here are five things to keep in mind this week:
1. Monday is an eventful day for the Briarcliff Manor Union Free School District, including the first day of winter sports for freshman and the National Honor Society Induction, which will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

2. The Village of Briarcliff Manor Board of Trustees will hold a regularly scheduled work session Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 6:45 p.m. in Village Hall. For the full agenda, click here.
3. Spring musical auditions will continue for Pleasantville High School Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
4. The Pleasantville Planning Commission will hold a meeting Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. in Village Hall. A proposal to establish a parking area within the Village of Pleasantville Right of Way will be adopted. For the full agenda, click here.
5. Run off that turkey dinner: The annual Briarcliff Booster Club Turkey Trot is slated for Friday, Nov. 29 at 8 a.m. Participants will have the option of a 5k run or a two-mile walk. Suggested donation is $20. All proceeds support Briarcliff’s athletic programs. Registration is 8 a.m. at Briarcliff High School.
