Vacancy: A'Mangiare's Former Bedford Road Space

Let's call this a modern spin on community planning—a digital drawing board where all ideas are on the table.

In this forum, we will present a vacant space or property and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use. Forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. What would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

This space—152 Bedford Rd.—housed  for about 15 years before the sit-down restaurant and pizzeria expanded and moved to Marble Avenue.

Now, the Old Village restaurant space at the conspicuous Bedford Road/Broadway intersection is vacant and adorned with a "For Rent" sign above the entrance.

So, tell us—in an ideal world, what would you like to see happen to this space? A new eatery? A retail shop? Or something else entirely?
