PLEASANTVILLE, NY — Yet another new chance for renters to combat the ongoing affordable housing crisis is here for households meeting income requirements.

Westchester Residential Opportunities has announced that the wait list lottery is now open for seven fair and affordable apartments at The Atwood, a newly constructed luxury building located at 1 Vanderbilt Avenue, in Pleasantville. Three of the apartments are available for immediate occupancy.

The pet-friendly community is walking distance to downtown Pleasantville and the Metro-North station. The Atwood has a 24-hour fitness studio, a hospitality bar with complimentary coffee, and a library lounge. The building is zoned to the Pleasantville Union Free School District.

The maximum household incomes by household size, based on 80 percent AMI are:

  • 1-person household: $95,200
  • 2-person household: $108,800
  • 3-person household: $122,400
  • 4-person household: $136,000
  • 5-person household: $146,900

The deadline for applications is August 18, at 4 p.m. Submitting more than one application may disqualify you. The lottery will be held on September 3, at 11 a.m. via HomeSeeker.
