Westchester: Severe Weather Warning

If you have outdoor plans later today, be sure to bring that umbrella.

The National Weather Service issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Westchester County.

Expect some severe storms, damaging winds and large hail after 4 p.m. today, according to the NWS. There is also potential for "torrential rainfall which could lead to areas of flooding," the alert states.

Also tonight, thunderstorms and showers are likely before 8 p.m., the NWS states.

Tonight's temperature will be about 67 degrees, with partly cloudy skies.

Thursday looks like the pick of the week, with temps hitting 86 degrees and mostly sunny skies.
