Dance Open House

Where/When: Arc Stages (147 Wheeler Ave. Pleasantville) on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Why go: World Heritage Cultural Organization, a local non-profit, is hosting a day of cultural refreshments, classes and more for all members of the family. Dance workshops will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. free of chrage.

Balloon Workshop

Where/When: Mount Pleasant Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Why go: Learn how to shape balloons into hats, animals and more. Recommended for grades two through six. Register at the library.

Purim Banquet

Where/When: Briarcliff Manor Recreation Center on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 4:30 p.m.

Why go: The annual Chabad of Briarcliff Manor and Ossining Purim celebration will feature a Megilah Reading at 4:30 p.m., followed by an Israeli feast and entertainment at 5 p.m. There will be music, L'chaim, dancing, masquerade and a performance by Marc Hayward, a professional yo-yo master and juggler. Whooo's on Their Nest?

Where/When: Teatown Lake Reservation on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m.

Where/When: Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
