Applebee's announced this week that its Riverhead location raised $11,000 - the most of any Long Island branch - at its 'Breakfast With Santa' event last December.
In total, the Long Island restaurants raised $322,500 to benefit the Marine Corps-run program, 100 percent of which went to benefit low-income children during the holiday season. Suffolk County Applebee's raised over $100,000 for the program.
